Something tells me this type of advice should be mandatory training for PodCamp speakers, or speakers of all kinds.

Handing out chocolate-covered nuts also helps.

Hi Laura!

I'd like to share my presentation experience with you. Last June I've been defending my Bachelor's paper at university.
There was a great room, great projector, etc. I made good, strong work (involving a guy from Germany who did a device for me). But it was annoying that teachers in the room didn't listen too much, excepting one good woman. I suddenly I understood that they don't care what are u talking about! It's just their job to listen you! Gosh. They don't care. But after my presentation everyone said me good words, shook my hand, etc.

Conclusion: don't go where you are not waiting.

Delivering Killer Presentations

The guest speaker, Laura Fitton of Pistachio Consulting, generously shared several presentation tips and insights, which I feel are valuable to any presenter, whether or not they intend to speak at a PodCamp.
