Great content! One thing that I’d like to challenge though is slide 73 “How do you govern employees’ Twitter use?” – although I agree that it would be better from an organic growth PoV to leave employees unfettered on Twitter, I don’t think that is realistic from a liability perspective. When employees are tweeting as representatives of their employers I would assume there needs to be some structure to reinforce the protection of trade secrets, information protected by confidentiality agreements, compliance with privacy policies, etc. I’ll be curious to see how some of the legal issues play out when an employee breaches a confidentiality covenant on Twitter and the issue is tested in court. If the employer is seen as liable in that scenario you will see a major push to gag access.

Thanks for making such great info available!

Enjoyed the webinar. I’m going to recommend it to many of our TEKgroup clients, so they can confidently use the integrated Twitter message delivery from their Online Newsroom.

Thank you! I know these webinars take a lot of work.
